Mapping Out Tax Payers’ Location for Tanzania Local Government
We have established an online centralized tax collection system with integration to Geographical Information System (GIS), that analysis all tax payers in a map. Locating the defaulting tax payer has been made easy and efficiency improved in tax collection. The Electronic Tax and Levies Collection Project has indicatively benefitted nine (9) municipal councils namely Kinondoni, Temeke, Mbeya, Arusha, Moshi, Iringa, Mtwara, Tabora and Kibaha. We endeavor to advance this enterprising experience in other Municipal Councils.
Enhanced Hospital Revenue Collection
We have developed an Electronic Health Revenue Management system specifically targeting healthcare practitioners and hospitals looking to enhance the quality of healthcare services and Revenue Cycle Management. Our Hospital revenue
management system takes care of the back office billing activities, cash collections (Cost sharing), credit, Insurance and any other type of billing available at the hospital / health center facility.
Robust Electronic Platform Complements an outreaching Agency Network
In collaboration with Tanzania Postal Corporation, Maxcom Africa has establishing a robust and interactive electronic infrastructure compounded with an outreaching agency network up to village level. Apart from the ease and effortless collection of taxes and other bills, the government’s efforts on national financial inclusion framework have been greatly boosted. We have increased
access to such financial services as pension funds, banking and insurance services in areas marginalized.
